Description
Loaded the scene from my image "2015 Flaeme Concept", used an HDR at a low strength, added a small plane as a light emitter off to the right side, rendered, and sent to Photoshop for color correction and background painting. I haven't reinstalled my masking plugin for Studio 4.8, so I wasn't able to do any careful color correction this time.
No SSS or translucency on the skin either, just a straight conversion of the 4.7 materials. Gold is an Iray shader. Took about 5 minutes to render (HDR and no translucency speeds things up a ton) and about 20 minutes in Photoshop, most of which was spent experimenting with layer blending modes.
You *can* make fantasy renders with Iray as long as Photoshop plays its part.
