Description
Test render of generic demoness (flaeme), rendered in Iray (DAZ Studio). Please let me know if you like this concept more than the more simplified ones I've used in the past. Only post work is some color correction curves and signature.
Genesis 2 female, End of Summer Hair, Succubus Accessories and various other DAZ and Renderosity items.
Still to do:
----------------
* try painting improved details on horn, wing bones, etc in Substance Painter. Also want to try painting very subtle creature details on legs, shoulders, hip, etc.
* find settings to make gems in gold accessories appear. Base Iray diamond shader doesn't work well on them.
* try using various additional maps (SSS for ear, improved translucency maps for wings, better specular, etc).
Changes and reasons for such
------------------------------------------
* Eyes won't always glow, I just wanted to test iray emission. They can glow when they breathe fire or first take demoness form after shedding a disguise.
* Veil shows face where mask doesn't, it's also kind of mysterious and sexy.
Also makes some sense story-wise, as Vaene (the main villain) is summoned into a Eastern lands harem and it's plausible that she adapts the general look of the people she first encounters for her minions. The veil is actually a copy of her bikini bottom with only the cloth portions visible and 'attached' by two rings to her horn.
* I kinda like that fantasy ear shape, it's an interesting combination of being pointy and evil but also cute. Different from the usual elven ear and unusual enough to make it clear the character is not human.
* Iray renders metals much better than 3Delight, and I thought it would better personalize them if each demoness had a different combination of shiny accessories. This figure has 21 items so far (many not shown).
* Wings have translucency and a light is shining through her right one as a test. Also uses a custom transmap for edge detail and tears.
